characteristics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It can include the diamond\u2019s shape, dimensions, carat weight, colour, clarity, cut, polish, symmetry, fluorescence, proportions, and identifying features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Understanding the report helps buyers compare diamonds more confidently and reduces reliance on marketing descriptions alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Is GIA?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GIA stands for the Gemological Institute of America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GIA developed the widely used D-to-Z colour scale and the modern 4Cs terminology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A GIA grading report describes the diamond but does not set its selling price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is not the same as an appraisal, guarantee, or valuation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Report
